My father read all three of the original Hunger Games books while he was substituting at a children's school one day. He just picked up the first book out of curiosity and started reading it and liked it so much he continued with the series. My first time seeing the Hunger Games movies was not too long after I first moved into my apartment in Missouri in 2017. I really liked them and imagine my sheer delight when I was at the store and saw that Suzanne Collins had written what I originally thought was a sequel to the original trilogy. Then I hunted on YouTube for the Audiobook but they only had a preview, which I listened to with great interest. Then I placed a hold on the book at the local library and when I got it finally I got into it right away and boy it took a long time to read but it dawned on me at the conclusion of reading it that it was no sequel at all-it was a prequel! And I was satisfied for now the story has been told about one of the key characters in the original three Hunger Games books.
