Let's discuss what we know from canon about Jedi Grand Master Yoda.
During the Twilight of the Republic era right on through the Clone Wars he was one of the two leading members of the esteemed Jedi Council.
What do we know of him before and after that? We know he trusted Anakin with Padme's protection and gave Anakin Ashoka Tano as a Padawan learner to teach and to train up.
We know during Rebels he gave Ezra Bridger a Kaibur crystal and told him later to go to the planet Malachor. He later trained a Young Luke Skywalker as a Padawan. He died on his 900'th birthday and on the day of his death told Luke that indeed Vader was Luke's father and that there was another Skywalker. I'm sure a lot more can vbe said about the life of this remarkable man and that I haven't said the half of it.
