12-18-- LORD'S DAY
Title Page (TP)
vv. 1-8
Mormon took the records of the Nephites and the Lamanites out of the Library of the Hill Cumorah in Oaxaca, Mexico and compiled the Plates of Nephi, then wrote a small bridge connecting those large records with the Book of Lehi and the small plates of Nephi containing the words of the holy Book of Mormon Prophets from Lehi to King Benjamin. It is written to the Lamanites, or their descendants, who are the Indians of today, who are a remnant of the House of Israel, and also written to the Modern Jew and non Jew, or Goyim, in every nation of the earth.
God commanded that this book should be written, and it was written by the spirit of prophecy and of revelation. Mormon and Moroni his son wrote it, and Moroni projected out seals to seal the book with pins that could only be removed by Jesus himself, and it was hid in a large hill in upstate New York by the prophet Moroni, that the plates be not destroyed, hid up unto the Lord, to come forth by the Gift and power of God, interpreted by two stones set in a bow, by Joseph Smith, Jr.
This book was sealed by Moroni's hand, and hid up unto the Lord, to be translated in due time by Mauricio Artur Berger, a Gentile, the interpretation thereof by the gift of God. The Book of Mormon also contains an abridgement taken from the 24 Gold Plates of the Jaredites or Preclassic Olmecs also, called the Book of Ether, which was a record of the people of Jared, who were scattered at the Tower of Babel, a Tower intended to contain an Interdimensional portal at the top to get to the second heaven or the demonic realm, which to prevent its completion, the Lord scattered its builders and confounded their language, making each man's speech foreign to his neighbor, scattering them to the four corners of the earth and throwing down their tower. The purpose of the Book of Mormon is to show the Remnant of the House of Israel what great things the Lord hath done for their fathers; and that they may know the covenants of the Lord, that they are not cast off forever, and also to the convincing of the Jew and Gentile that Jesus is the Christ, the Eternal God, manifesting himself unto all nations. If there are any mistakes in the keeping or in the transmission of the record, they are the mistakes of men, so we shouldn't condemn the things of God, that we may be found spotless at the judgment seat of Christ.

I Nephi (I Ni)
Superscription of I Ni 1
First Nephi is the account of a family, whose father is Lehi, mother is Sariah and four sons are, beginning at the eldest, Laman, Lemuel, Sam and Nephi. Lehi is prophesying to the people about their sins, and they seek his life, so God warns Lehi to flee from Jerusalem. He goes three days' journey into the wilderness, and his family is with him. Nephi and his brothers go back to Jerusalem to obtain the record of the Jews or the Brass Plates. A record of their suffering. They marry the daughters of Ishmael. With their families, they depart into the wilderness. The directions of their travels, and suffering and afflictions in the wilderness. Nephi's brethren rebel against him at the Large Waters. He confounds them, and builds a ship. They call the shore Bountiful. They cross the Sea to the Promised Land. Nephi wrote this account. This record is according to this account.

12/21-- WEDNESDAY
I Nephi 1
I Ni 1:1-12
Nephi begins his record with his Pedigree, and with the education he had had, giving credit to God, and the certainty of the Truth of his record, and that he was the one that had made it. Then he begins with a setting- the first year of the reign of Zedekiah in Jerusalem, then begins to abridge the record of his father Elasah or Lehi. He starts with Elasah's ministry and prayer for the people of Jerusalem, then his encounter with the Lord, then his second vision upon his bed in his house. Elasah or Lehi is given a book, the Sealed Book of Moses. When he reads this book he exclaims "Wo, wo unto Jerusalem, for I have seen thine abominations" In the Book, Lehi read that Jerusalem should be destroyed, and that many of the inhabitants should perish by the sword and many should be carried captive into Babylon.

12/23-- FRIDAY
I Ni 1:13-16
As Lehi continued to read the Sealed Book of Moses, he praised God, saying, Great and Marvelous are Thy Works, etc, for his soul did rejoice. Nephi says that he does not give a full account of all his father has written, and says God showed Lehi many things in visions and in dreams, and hath written many things which he prophesied and spake unto his children. Nephi writes that he shall make an account of his proceedings in his days.

12/26-- MONDAY
I Ni 1:17-174
Nephi declares that he will abridge the record of his father then make an account of his life. Lehi began to prophesy and because he prophesied of their iniquities the Jews sought his life. The Lord commanded him to flee into the wilderness with his family. After he had taken three days' journey into the wilderness, he named the Valley of Lemuel and the River of Laman. His sons Laman and Lemuel began to rebel against him because they did not believe his words. Lehi spoke under the influence of the Holy Ghost to them and confounded them. Nephi cried unto the Lord and He did visit him that He softened his heart that he believed all the words of his father, then he made these things known to his brother Sam. God told Nephi that he was blessed and if his brothers rebelled they would be cursed. Then Lehi had a dream that Nephi and his brethren should go unto Jerusalem after the Record of the Jews. Nephi obeyed and the others followed. When they got to Jerusalem, they cast lots who should go unto Laban, and the Lot fell on Laman. Laman asked Laban for the Brass Plates but Laban thrust him out. Then they went down to their former house and got their gold, silver and precious things, after Nephi persuaded Laman and Lemuel to continue to try to obtain the plates, but Laban lusted after their property, and it fell into the hands of Laban, wherefore Laman and Lemuel were angry with Sam and Nephi and began to smite them with a rod. Then an angel appeared to them and told them that Nephi would be made a ruler and a teacher over them. Then Nephi persuaded them, though they continued to murmur. Nephi then crept into the city by night, and found Laban drunk and the Holy Spirit constrained Nephi to slay Laban with his own sword. Then Nephi put Laban's garments on, then commanded the Servant of Laban in Laban's voice to get the Brass Plates from the treasury, and bade the servant follow him. When Laman and Lemuel saw Zoram (the Servant of Laban) they were afraid, and so was Zoram, but Nephi constrained him to make an oath that he would go with them and that Zoram would be a free man. When they got back to the tent of Lehi, Lehi's joy was full, and Sariah was comforted, for she had complained against their father, and Lehi had comforted her. Lehi searched the Brass Plates and found they contained the five Books of Moses, and found he was a descendant of Joseph, and that the Brass Plates contained many prophecies of the Holy Prophets, and he prophesied over his seed, and also prophesied that the Brass Plates should go to his seed. They carried the Brass Plates as they journeyed through the wilderness.

01/02-- MONDAY
I Ni 2:1-4
Nephi states that he shall not give an account of the genealogy of his father, for it is had in his father's record. He once more states that he is a descendant of Joseph. He says that he cannot write all the things of his father for he desired room on the plates that he may write of the things of God. The fullness of his intent is that men come to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and be saved.
