PROGRESS OF THE JEDI
Screenplay by Brent Lee Sohlden Koivopolo V, with some rewriting help for clarity and possibly ideas from Brian Miller.
Just THREE YEARS after the DESTRUCTION OF HOBBLEE
HOBELLEER, Galactic Alliance agents managed to steal
blueprints to the SUPERWEAPON from the VONG
PLANET HYDON.
Against objections from the Congress of the United Dyad
of Galaxies, the GALAXY GUN, powerful enough to disable the
entire VONG Starfleet, has been CONSTRUCTED by the
NEW REPUBLIC.
SEVERAL SECTS of Jedi are split FURTHER AND FURTHER
apart on the wisdom of using this WEAPON. JEDI MASTER
KYP DURRON leads a daring mission to try to stop this
SUPERWEAPON from ever being ARMED....

THE CAMERA PANS DOWN to a WIDE SHOT of the MASSIVE COLD MECHANICAL Galaxy Gun and a REPUBLIC SHUTTLE approaching it.
SCENE 02 INT REPUBLIC SHUTTLE-COCKPIT
A group of FIVE, TAL, NALSA RI, BEN SOLO, REY and KYP DURRON, dressed in REPUBLIC GARB, and TWO DROIDS wait with bated breath.
BB-8 and R2-D2 twitter nervously.
NALSA RI: Now we see if these code clearances are worth the price we paid, husband.
TAL: Don't worry, Nal, they will be.
REY: The Force is with us.
KYP DURRON: Sh. Transmission coming through.
VOICE (V.O.): You are cleared for docking in Docking Area AB-8.

SC 03 EXT SPACE
The SHUTTLE flies into the GALAXY GUN HANGAR.
SC 04 INT GALAXY GUN- HANGAR
The FIVE disguised as REPUBLIC GUARDS and the TWO DROIDS disembark from the SHUTTLE. They are greeted by a SILVER PROTOCOL DROID.
SW-04: I am SW-04, Human Cyborg Relations. Please state your business.
REY: Routine Systems check for the Galaxy Gun.
SW-04: This way, please.
The FIVE and the TWO DROIDS follow SW-04 down the hallway. Unnoticed, BB-8 scampers down an access port.

SC 05 INT GALAXY GUN-ACCESS PORT
BB-8 plugs in to the system. A HOLO of JEDI GRAND MASTER KLON appears.
KLON: Good job, BB. Now here are the precise parameters and coordinates....
SC 06 INT GALAXY GUN-COORIDOOR
As the FIVE and R2 follow SW-04, BEN slips away unnoticed down a SIDE HALLWAY.
SC 07 INT GALAXY GUN-DEEP SHAFT
BEN climbs a ladder down a SHAFT and starts hitting buttons and TURNING DIALS. He takes out a COMMUNICATOR.
BEN: Come in, BB-8. Are you in place? Has Master Klon given you the precise parameters and coordinates?
BB-8 (V.O.): (Beeps in the affirmative, then transmission sounds are made.)
BEN takes out a HYDROSPANNER, opens a PANEL and presses a SEQUENCE of BUTTONS on some KEYPADS. A DISPLAY turns from GREEN to RED as ALARMS SOUND throughout the SPACE STATION.
SC 08 INT GALAXY GUN-COORIDOR
SW-04 swerves around, notices the absensce of BEN and BB-8, and starts to say something but REY is TOO QUICK. She puts a RESTRAINING BOLT into the DROID, then SWITCHES HIM OFF. She takes out a communicator.
REY: Ok, time to move.
The GROUP OF FOUR and R2 do an ABOUT FACE and run back the way they came. SOON BEN and BB-8 join them. REPUBLIC GUARDS appear and fire blasters, but with their hands, BEN and REY block their blaster bolts and use the Force to shove the GUARDS aside. They QUICKLY get back into the REPUBLIC SHUTTLE and jump into HYPERSPACE right out of the HANGAR.
